Luxury Cycling Chalet Venosc
This property is a luxurious 5 bedroom catered chalet which is located in Venosc in the stunning Oisans region, on the edge of the Ecrins National Park. With close and easy access to the main road and local town of Bourg d’Oisans, this location is ideal for spring/summer cycling.
Venosc is a beautiful, quaint medieval village with cobbled streets, artisan shops, 14th century church and old stone buildings – giving you a truly authentic alpine experience.
The chalet is newly renovated to a very high level with a hugely spacious lounge area, comfortable leather couches, wooden floors throughout, large dining area, sky TV, cinema room, secure bike storage with tools. There is also a gym with professional fitness equipment, drying room with heated boot warmers, games room with pool table and table football, an infra-red sauna and outdoor hot-tub with spectacular views. There is ample outdoor seating in the spacious garden area both for lounging and relaxing and also for dining outdoors.
There are 5 bedrooms which sleep a total of 13 persons: 3 doubles/twins, one triple and 1 quad bedroom. All are ensuite, 2 have balcony access. Each has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and cascading waterfall. For self-catering groups, an additional bedroom is available for 2 people with a super-king bed and additional bathroom.
In summer we offer a choice of B&B or half-board or self-catering (whole chalet bookings only), depending on your needs. Also included in your stay is daily cleaning of the rooms, quality towels and White Company linen.
The luxury cycling chalet is perfect for cycling trip to Alpe d’Huez or the Col du Galibier. Or to take part n local event s such as La Marmotte or the Alpe d’Huzes. Mountain biking is available on the local resort of Les Deux Alpes.
